It’s time for another edition of Limited Too Tuesdays, a post in which I look back through my old diaries to see what middle school me was up to.
Today’s selected entry is focused on how to have a great summer.

#13. Stay Active… Did I write this list or did Michelle Obama? No wonder I weighed sixty pounds until I was fifteen. Look at what I was doing every day, just exercising all the time. I could play Olympics on the trampoline for literally hours. I would just jump and flip and twist and land the Kerri Strug one legged cartwheel all day long until I was so physically exhausted I couldn’t move. But yet I would probably still fit in a thirty minute basketball workout and then jump on my scooter real quick to head to a friend’s house. You know, just “staying active.”
If memory serves, the summer of 2001 was the summer I had to dumpster dive at Burger King to find my retainer. Don’t worry, I found it. And I went on to wear it for five more years until my dog ate it.
And just for the record I made Drill Team, I was also the captain until some of the moms tried to kick me off for making up a “questionable routine” to Britney’s I’m a Slave For You. In hindsight perhaps 8th and 9th grade girls shouldn’t have been dancing to that song after all. But the routine was so good, I still remember it to this day.
And now I’m going to switch gears and tell you how you can win the easiest $500 of your life.
Like I said , the prize is $500- via paypal, visa gift card, or target gift card. The only requirement for you is to like a page (or many pages!) on Facebook. The rafflecopter below makes it ridiculously easy to enter- you can like the facebook page directly through the rafflecopter. Each page liked is a an entry into the giveaway. This will literally take 30 seconds out of your day. 30 seconds for $500- I’d say that’s a pretty high paying job!
Giveaway ends March 11, 2014. All entries will be verified. Giveaway open to international readers with a paypal account- visa or target gift cards will not be sent internationally. Giveaway winner will be announced March 12, 2014.

Sweet giveaway! Thanks ladies!
seriously when i was a kid i was in like 18 sports. no wonder i was a twig. now i look forward to the couch.
I think the first half of the entry is the real gem here… middle school Tay is seriously no BS, I love it.
I love how much you believed in yourself even at a young age. "I better of made it! I will be mad if I didn't" <and so in touch with your emotions. I pray for the day I find my old dairies… can't wait to post all of my man obsessions lol
I love how sassy you were! And now I really want it to be summer so I can "stay active" with all of these things!
I played fifty billion sports growing up all through high school and ate any and everything and couldn't gain a pound no matter how hard I tried. Now I'm 30 wishing I would've kept up the habit of exercise, and I'm now trying to figure out how to be active again after 12 years of not working out. I tried zumba last week. I'm sold. Maybe it's because of the questionable moves that are somehow okay because it's "zumba?!"

Pretty much all of my favorite bloggers ever! YES!
You were quite the confident child. I love that your wrote "stay active" after listing pretty much only activities that require being active.
I mean obviously you were the captain…there wasn't even one girl who was a better dancer than you let alone 24!
"I better of made it!" You tell 'em girl.
Brilliant! Wish I kept my diaries.
I came I entered I left…………………..also hope I win, don't expect to, and one last thing love those diary entries
I think we all wanted to be Carrie Strug. I met her in an airport once and totally wanted to reenact her one lagged vault landing!
Those 'ways to have fun this summer' still apply…. just more alcohol? 🙂
Love the giveaway as well! Brilliant idea to introduce me to new blogs that I otherwise hadn't come across! I can't want to delve into their posts. Thanks! And the lists in your diary crack me up! Its such an insight into what was important to us when we were so innocent and naive….oh if only to go back to those days…

very very very sweet giveaway 🙂 i am really in need for this
AWESOME giveaway! Thanks SO much for hosting! By the way, I'm pretty impressed that you share your diary entries! I always kept a diary growing up and I can tell you, it would be pretty embarrassing to share what I wrote. LOL I think every day there was a new crush… UGH! Anyway, I stopped writing and journaling when one day my brother and his friends read it and I didn't find out until I came to a page that one of the friends wrote me a note on. I was SO humiliated that to this day I am unable to write anything personal. Sad, really….
Entered! ty so much for the great Giveaway!
